The position is for 197 school days and will begin on August 1, 2024

 

Primary Purpose:

Work under minimum supervision to provide advanced clerical services to the campus administrator assigned. Handle confidential information and engage in frequent contact with staff members and the general public.

 

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos

Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling

Excellent public relations, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task administrative activities

 

Experience:

2 years or more experience (preferred)

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Clerical Support

  1. Knowledge of general office procedures
  2. Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
  3. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as needed.
  4. Set up meetings including reserving the venue, preparing materials, and arranging for refreshments and catering as needed.
  5. Compile and maintain attendance records
  6. Accept, sort, and direct campus mail as needed

Reception and Phones

  1. Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route them to the appropriate staff member.
  2. Greet visitors in a kind and courteous manner.
  3. Respond to routine inquiries from the public and staff and refer appropriate inquiries or problems to administrators.
  4. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
  5. Maintain confidentiality.
