Primary Purpose:

Evaluate and provide leadership for the overall instructional programs in the assigned subject area(s) of the district in grades 6-12.  Assist in directing and managing instructional programs and operations at the campus levels.  Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Assist in the effective and efficient operations of the curriculum and instruction department, which includes curriculum, staff development, and assessment. 

To coordinate and guide English Language Learners toward gaining knowledge and skills in order to become productive citizens by increasing English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in the academic core subject areas.
